Proct plus AI: a clear two-part name
ProctAI is built from two visible pieces: a proctoring stem and the letters AI. Together they describe supervised assessment assisted by software, in a form short enough to remember and type.
01
The proct stem
The first half echoes the vocabulary of exam supervision, the work of watching a test session so results can be trusted. Anyone in education, certification or hiring who has dealt with remote exams will recognize the direction quickly. Because it is clipped rather than spelled out in full, it feels like a product name rather than a job title. That brevity helps on exam portals, candidate emails, institutional contracts and invoices, where a name needs to be read, spoken and typed correctly on the first attempt by busy administrators and nervous test takers alike.
02
The AI ending
The closing letters place the brand in the world of automated assistance. For a buyer, that suggests software that can help review sessions, surface unusual moments and reduce the manual burden on staff. It also lets a future owner describe the offer honestly as support for human decisions rather than a replacement for them. The capitalized ending gives the wordmark a clean internal break, so the two ideas stay visible in a logo, an app tile or a browser tab without needing a separate tagline to explain either half.
03
Fit across education and work
Because the name names a function and not a single customer, it can travel between settings. A university could use it for course exams, a certifier for credential testing, and an employer for screening tasks. Each audience still needs its own wording, consent flow and policies, which a future owner would define. The domain gives a neutral base for those separate landing pages, all under one name. That flexibility matters for a company that may begin with one pilot customer and later add other assessment contexts as demand and capability grow.
